Les missions

The Logistics and Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain process, from the purchase of raw materials to the delivery of the final product. Its main objective is to ensure that operations are carried out without a hitch, respecting deadlines and optimizing costs.

In his role, he develops strategies to optimize production, storage and transport flows. It coordinates relationships with suppliers, manages inventory, and uses management tools to anticipate needs and fluctuations in demand. It can also negotiate with logistics providers in order to guarantee competitive delivery times.

The Logistics and Supply Chain Manager is also responsible for optimizing supply chain costs. It analyzes data and performance indicators to identify sources of waste or dysfunction, and suggests solutions to improve process efficiency.

In addition, he ensures compliance with quality and safety standards and must sometimes manage emergency situations, such as late deliveries or stockouts. In large structures, he can manage a team and collaborate with different departments (production, purchasing, sales) to ensure optimal coordination.
