Les missions

The mission of the Cybersecurity Expert is to protect an organization's information systems against cyber threats and to guarantee the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data. It continuously assesses the company's infrastructures, identifies potential weaknesses, and proposes solutions to correct them.

To prevent intrusions, it sets up protection systems, such as firewalls, antiviruses, and intrusion detection solutions. It performs security audits and penetration tests to identify weak spots in the company's network and applications. For example, in a company managing sensitive data, it can simulate cyberattacks to test the resilience of systems and internal processes.

In the event of an attempted intrusion or attack, it is responsible for responding to incidents: it analyzes the nature of the attack, identifies the vulnerability exploited, and implements corrective actions to limit its impact. It is also conducting forensic investigations to understand how the attack was carried out and to learn from it to strengthen future security.

The Cybersecurity Expert works closely with other IT teams and compliance managers to ensure that security practices comply with current standards and regulations, such as the GDPR. He regularly trains employees in security best practices in order to reduce the risks of human error, which is one of the main security breaches.

This business requires constant technological monitoring, as threats evolve rapidly. The Cybersecurity Expert must adapt to new attack techniques and emerging defense tools, to keep the company ahead of cybercriminals and guarantee optimal security.
